Our arrival in Melbourne

Hello everyone,

As many of you know, Jil and I will be traveling through Australia and Southeast Asia for the next 4 1/2 months. We will be using this blog to share some pictures and write a few things. This way, you can always stay up to date and know where we are and what we are experiencing.

So, let's get started :). After our flights from Hamburg to Dubai and Dubai to Melbourne, we actually managed to arrive at our hostel in the center of Melbourne after about 25 hours. We were quite exhausted, so we slept from 3 pm to 6 am the next morning and then ventured out into the city together.

Melbourne is a very vibrant city with people from all cultures. There is music playing on every corner. The people are very open and seem extremely happy. A great start to our journey down under.
