Whale Watching off Fraser Island

After a relaxed day of camping, it was time to practice walking with Anna and just relax with a bit of wine. 😁

Anna got her first molar tooth.

Today we went whale watching. After the airplane experience, we had to see the dozens of humpback whales that are currently giving birth near Fraser Island up close.

And we were lucky, it didn't take long and we could observe two humpback whales (a mother and a calf) up close from the boat. It didn't take long and a whole escort of 7 adult animals came.

It was wonderful to watch these giant animals up close. Simply gigantic.
