Today we met Kento's mom, Yoko. She immediately treated us to homemade onigiri (rice balls) and hojicha (green tea). She took us around the nearby streets and showed us a nice playground. The two little mice loved it, of course. Afterwards, we strolled through the shopping street Kappabashi, where we got our first souvenirs. It's worth mentioning that Tokyo is a very clean city, even though there are no visible public trash bins.
Right below our accommodation (Momo-House), there is a café. They make the most beautiful coffees there. The owner has even won awards for his latte art in the World Latte Art Championship. His employee enchanted us daily and served irresistibly beautiful drinks... and they are just as delicious as they are beautiful!
We visited the Asakusa Temple again. It's just so beautiful there. The temple was crowded and many Japanese people were wearing kimonos. You can buy omamori at the temple, which are lucky charms or talismans. Salia and Namira now carry the luck of the golden dragon with them.
And lastly, we not only admired the Skytree from the outside, but also got to see the huge Tokyo at night. The city lights extended to the horizon. A true sea of lights. A beautiful conclusion to our stay here.
