We couldn't leave Stratford without checking out the birthplace of the town's famous child: William Shakespeare! Ah yes, that's 34 years ago since I had to read Shakespeare in the advanced English course ("The Merchant of Venice" with Mr. Zippel, I will never forget it 😅).
Tourism was raging in the street, souvenir shop after souvenir shop. Nevertheless, the old buildings were worth seeing. And of course I "had" to go to the Public Library again quickly 😇
We also paid a visit to the local Aldi beforehand. I love shopping abroad 🥰, soo many things that we don't have. Ingo was super annoyed because I watched for so long 🤣.
What I think is great here: There are lots of ready-to-go chopped wok vegetables in all variations and lots of sauces to go with it. Today we had a mix with broccoli, edamame, carrots, red onions and cabbage. With glass noodles, a wok sauce and chopped nuts, it was delicious 🤤 and ready in no time. In general there is a lot of Asian or Indian food here, also a lot of veggie 🥰
Since we were hungry for biscuits, I bought "Wheat Bisks". After we bit into it, crumbled everything and wondered about the consistency, we realized that you actually dissolve it in milk and eat it like muesli 😂😂😂
Now let's go to Holyhead, because tomorrow our ferry leaves for Dublin 💕
We arrived at the Llanfair Bach Caravan and Camping Site at 5:30pm and were able to get a pitch without a reservation. For 23 € we are quiet here and it is only 1.5 km to the ferry port.
