Time is running out. Just two days ago, my mom was here and my room was lively, with two beds, suitcases, and clothes everywhere. After a very sad second goodbye to my mom, it's back to everyday life.
The past two weeks were so beautiful that I gained a lot of strength for the upcoming time.
Cape Town! Oh, how beautiful is Cape Town. The air, the city, the ocean, the mountains. Everything is completely different from Namibia and I immediately felt comfortable in the big city. The five days I spent there with my mom and my cousins were such a wonderful experience. Good food, oh such good food, and many little adventures we had there. The sunset by the ocean was the highlight.
Cape Town is a city I definitely want to return to and where I could imagine living for a few years.
But for now, I have to finish the first adventure before I start thinking about going out again...:)
Back in dry and very hot Namibia. Mom is showing me places in Namibia that I didn't know before and already love. There's a farmer's market here, with delicious cheese, vegetables, and bread. Yes! You will probably find me there every Saturday.
The days go by so fast, with shared yoga and tanning sessions in the garden, with conversations, massages, fits of laughter, shopping trips, cooking, and so on... It could have gone on forever.
Now she's gone and I'm here. So, my adventure in Namibia continues. It has to somehow.
Yesterday I went to a 'Wine Not' festival, with food stalls, wine tastings, and music. It had everything I could have wished for. Wine, good food, music, and above all, young people.
Today, I'm going to the Ladies Night with my colleagues, curious to see how it will be.
Other days go by with work, gym, and lots and lots of sun......
Thank you, mom, for you. Thank you for your effort. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your love.
Thank you!
See you soon :*
