Soon it's time...

Finally, the big journey is about to begin after 2 years of planning. The departure is already in 2 weeks and the final preparations are underway.

Above all, a loooooot of organizing, last-minute shopping, clearing out the apartment and making it ready for subletting, and learning Spanish.

It's kind of strange to pack all the luggage for 6 months into a 55 or 60 liter backpack when you usually go on a weekend trip with the same luggage. The same question keeps coming up: have we really thought of everything? Well, probably not, but hopefully we have thought of everything important: visas, vaccinations (by the way, get the vaccinations done early enough, Micha had a fever for a day after each vaccination), flights, entry requirements...

In addition to the nervousness, we are slowly but surely getting incredibly excited, we actually dared to do it!

What will we experience, who will we meet, and will we even come back? ;-)

So as not to bore you with organizational stuff, that should be enough at this point. We will try to keep you updated regularly and let you participate in our experiences.

Of course, we appreciate feedback and also any insider tips if you have already traveled to the respective countries ;-)
