How nice that you can now get bargain flights from Nuremberg Airport for some time. That's how we came to Milan, round trip for €15 - the train ticket from Bamberg to Nuremberg costs more...

Milan has a lot to offer, huge churches, shops, palaces and finally good ice cream, cappuccino and good food.

The Palazzo di Sforza is very beautiful with an interesting park.

A visit to the big flea market in the Navigli is fantastic, you have to fight not to buy a suitcase to be able to take more home. The flea market always takes place on Sundays and is huge, there are crowds of people pushing through, an incredible crowd, but it's worth fighting your way through. Whether it's antiques, retro art, clothes, decorations, pictures, furniture, everything is great.

A trip to Lake Como is definitely worthwhile, the views there are fantastic.
