A visit to the Pope

First, strengthen for the day. The breakfast at the hotel for €6 is really great.

Then we go to the Pope.

We bought tickets online so we don't have to stand in the long queues. 20,000 visitors are shuttled through here every day. The cathedral is already fantastic. (If you don't know the Cologne Cathedral😉 We booked an audio tour through getyourguide and take a tour of the cathedral. The Pope is unfortunately not here.😇

We had chosen a nice wine bar for dinner. Unfortunately, in August all Italians are on vacation. Including the chefs. That's why many places are closed. Nevertheless, we find a small, fine restaurant in the Borgo district.

After dinner, back to the hotel via St. Peter's Square.
