Day 12
Hello dear people ✌️
By now, we have experienced quite a lot. We took a night bus (10 hours) from Bangkok to Khao Sok National Park.
Once we arrived, we settled into our beautiful wooden bungalow in the middle of the jungle. Then we went on a short but strenuous hike to Wing Hin Waterfall. We even saw wild monkeys jumping on the trees. The forest is beautiful, with lush greenery and bamboo.
For the next day, we booked a two-day, one-night tour to Ratchaprapa Lake. Early in the morning, we were picked up and drove there for 2 hours. Then we took a longtail boat from the pier and crossed the lake. It was simply breathtaking and the weather was perfect. The scenery is amazing and the water is crystal clear. Once we arrived at our water bungalow, we had some time to relax or go kayaking. After that, our guide took us on a jungle trekking adventure. He warned us in the beginning that we would get a little dirty. Well, in the end, we were ankle-deep in mud. The walk was very challenging, with ups and downs and through a few rivers. In the end, we went into a cave where we had to climb and fight against a powerful stream. We were very glad that we made it through safely. It was really tough at times. But it was worth the experience. We ended the evening with a few cold beers.
In the morning, we went on a morning safari, but unfortunately, we didn't see any animals. Then we went back to land and went for a walk up a beautiful mountain to enjoy the scenery.
After another night in Khao Sok, we took a minivan to Krabi, specifically to Ao Nang Beach. Here, we are taking it easy for now. We spend our days swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. In the evening, we like to watch the sunset or have a drink at the reggae bar.
We'll stay here for two more nights, and then we'll move on to the first island, Koh Lanta. We are extremely happy to be by the sea and excited to see what the islands have to offer.
So, have a great week, and see you soon! ❤️
