We introduce ourselves

Hello everyone :)

We are Kevin (27) and Nadia (28) and we plan to travel together through Europe for a year. We met a little over two years ago at work and quickly bonded over our shared passion for cars. Since we worked at a workshop, we were able to invest a lot of time into this hobby. One thing led to another, and the rest is history ;)

Soon after, I had the opportunity to introduce Kevin to my favorite hobby (diving). After a weekend in Verzasca Valley, he also shared my passion and we spent a lot of time together in the water. Of course, we have our entire diving equipment with us on our trip and we can't wait to show you pictures of our underwater world.

Soon, the time has come and we're starting our big adventure.

There have been many preparations behind us, although not all of them are quite finished, many highs and many lows.

We had been talking about just packing our stuff and traveling for a while. In November 2018, we made the decision: Now is the time and we want to take this step. So we bought a camper, quit our jobs, as well as the apartment. Everything that doesn't come on the trip was stored in a craft cellar and is waiting for us there :)

We were in for a big surprise with the camper... Actually, we just wanted to renovate the back area. Enlarge the garage a bit and put in a proper bed. But suddenly we realized that the entire rear wall was rotten and had to be completely replaced - that cost us the entire holidays over Christmas and New Year.... When we were in the middle of the renovation, new ideas kept coming up and at the time when we actually wanted to be completely finished with the renovation, we only started with the originally planned work.

Today we are handing over our apartment - luckily it will be taken over by two good friends, which will simplify things for us.

Last night we stayed for the first time in our camper. In the parking lot in front of our former apartment! :D Actually, we wanted to go to a nice place, but at the moment we are running from A to B and we were so tired that we fell asleep right here. It was a weird feeling, but somehow quite funny.

The route is already planned :)

First, we will start in Spain, more precisely: Andalusia. Then we will drive to Germany, where our favorite car meeting 'German Racewars' takes place at the Kindel airfield in Eisenach. At this event, we will meet some of our friends again before we finally continue. Ultimately, the entire Europe is on the plan and we hope to be able to implement it at least to some extent :)
