After 4 hours of sleep, our little one claimed to be sleepless in Bangkok and even after 2 hours of cuddling and carrying, he couldn't be convinced to go back to sleep. He finally decided to start the day at 4:00 am and we were relieved when breakfast was finally served at 6:00 am. The breakfast buffet was amazing! It had everything, from a variety of fruits, Thai dishes, grilled chicken, fresh omelettes, a separate kids buffet, to endless sweets and juices. Even Samuel tasted and ate everything, and since he is usually a picky eater, it's quite an achievement for him. Joe and I are glad to be here for only 3 nights, otherwise we would need larger clothes to fly back home. :-)
Samuel finally fell asleep at 8:00 am and we did too. Our plan to wake him up at 2:00 pm and enjoy the day by aimlessly strolling through Bangkok didn't work. The little one simply refused to wake up and ignored all our attempts! So it turned out to be a day in the hotel room. Fortunately, we have a great view of the Chao Phraya River from our balcony. What more do we need? Since we are chaotic people and came to the city completely unprepared, we don't feel like we're missing out on anything.
