We are stuck at the end of the world

We have already booked accommodation in Ushuaia until Thursday, December 8th.

The further course is planned, but open to implementation.

So we immediately inquire about the next bus to Punta Arenas (Chile) and it turns out that the bus is already full on that Thursday: next opportunity is on Saturday. Fortunately, we find a hostel called 'Los Lupinos' where we can stay for the two additional nights. By the way, lupines can also be found here, these pretty flowers which are also cultivated as a cash crop adorn the steep road sides.

The unwanted extra days are easily bearable, and not just with a cup of coffee and a 'Media Luna', a crescent (croissant).

The weather is quite changeable compared to Buenos Aires. We were greeted with bright sunshine, which made it feel much warmer than the actual 7 degrees.
