Today's itinerary started late compared to the last two days. We left at 8 a.m. towards West MacDonell National Park. At the first stop, I spotted Black-footed Rock Wallabies in the red rocks at Standley Chasm with great effort. Throughout the day, I learned about several other canyons that serve as constant water sources for the original inhabitants of this area.
Now I am staying overnight in Alice Springs again, where the world's most curious boat race takes place in the dried-up river. Participants race the course on boats without bottoms, running instead of rowing. The race has been canceled before due to the river having water...
