From Freiburg to Interlaken – City Tour, Wings for Life & Hiking Joy
Today started with sunshine and a beautiful view of Freiburg's old town. We seized the opportunity and set off on foot early in the morning to explore the historic old town – a true highlight! The city enchants with its charm, the many small alleyways, the typical streams, and – not to forget – countless stairs and elevation gains. Freiburg is definitely a place you always enjoy returning to.
Around 10 o'clock, we made our way to Interlaken, which is only about an hour away. By 12:30 PM, we had checked in at Camping Alpenblick – a nice, quiet site in a good location. As soon as our van was set up, the next program point was announced: Wings for Life World Run! Of course, I had to be there.
Unfortunately, we didn’t find the flat circular path around the lake right away – that would have been ideal – so we only had the route along the river. Unfortunately, it was uphill and in the
