Today I planned to go to St Kilda again, a district. I actually thought that there would still be free public transportation today. However, before I returned, I double checked and indeed it was no longer free today. That could have been very expensive. But once again I was lucky. Walked along the beach in St Kilda, through the botanical garden, and back to the hostel. Dinner and early to bed. Didn't feel well and had a fever at night.

The following day is not really spectacular. Spent the day in bed with a fever.

At least the next day I was fit enough to meet with Jana and her mother, who are currently traveling together in Australia. It was a great joy to see each other again. We had lunch together, went to a market, took a tourist tram that circles around the city. In the evening, Jana's mother cooked us a typical German meal: fried eggs, spinach, and boiled potatoes. The evening was topped off with beer.

The next morning, we joined a free city tour. Afterwards, I bought my dear sister a car sticker of Australia. We drove to Brighton Beach, where there were many colorful beach huts. While we were lying on the beach, I couldn't resist teasing Jana. I put a banana peel on her back. Over and over again. Her mother also found it amusing. She was somehow on my side. In the evening, we met up for dinner and said goodbye.
