Finally arrived!

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, my plane flew from Munich to Gran Canaria. Naturally, saying goodbye was difficult, but it's the first step into a great adventure. It wasn't until I was on the plane that I really realized what I had done. It still hadn't fully sunk in that I had the courage to go alone on a cruise ship and work in the hospital there, taking care of the medical needs of the guests and of course the entire crew. On Sunday, we boarded the ship. We were picked up at the hotel and taken to the ship. Luckily, I wasn't alone and I had already met many people at the hotel. Show performers, chefs, receptionists, managers, travel consultants, hairdressers, and so on... everyone was there. We checked in and had to register. Each one of us was assigned a buddy and a cabin. I was warmly and lovingly welcomed to the hospital! After that, I went straight to the tailor for the clothes and was already dressed. The medical assistant that I'm taking over for now has to train me so that I can do everything myself when she leaves. It's a big challenge, but I think I'm up to it!
