We have been working on the kiwifarm for the past 2 weeks. We have to get up at 6:30 am every morning, but we still haven't managed to arrive on time at 8 am (so we're not really German ;).
Then it's 8 hours of picking kiwis or wrapping their vines around ropes. Fortunately, we are here with another German group, so we can pass the time by shooting kiwis at our fellow group members ;) But mostly, we listen to music or radio plays.
On rainy days, we have time off, and if we're not trying to catch up on sleep, we go on outings, go bowling, go to the swimming pool, or spontaniously dye the entire group's hair.
Overall, we're having a great time here, and in about 1 and a half weeks, we'll make our way into the vastness of New Zealand with fresh money in our bank accounts!
Take care ❤️
PS: Since we have to drive 40 minutes each way to the kiwifarm every day, we have of course already had various car troubles, including 2 flat tires, one broken alternator, and a restart of Mattis' car because the battery was dead. But Schrabli (My car) is holding up well so far ;)
