Just ride home for a change, with a funny encounter 😏 75 km

Actually, my plan was to head further north, to Flensburg, about 100 km, if that still works out today😏, but there was a replacement bus service on the route, so I couldn't just hop on.

So new plan, I had already cycled the old route. Eckernförde to Boostedt, AKN HVV, and the bike can ride for free, the route is fine.

So off I go across the country, sometimes annoying main roads but also wonderful nature again and again. Until the North–Baltic Sea Canal, a nice little ferry. Sometimes I'd like to take a break, a nice bakery would be great, but they are rare and not where I am😩. Out of nowhere appears a mill, a sign at the entrance Klönschnack every last Friday!?!? Wondering if there’s anything here, I stretch my neck. A voice comes from the garden, asking if I'm looking for something. I ask if it’s a restaurant? No, what would I like? A coffee ☕. Should I make one? And suddenly I was invited into the garden. 10 minutes later, the host came with a tray of coffee, cookies, and 2 slices of bread with country ham, delicious! I also had a very nice conversation and a tour of the house. 😊 Very smiling, I got back on my bike after this break 😋. From Bordesholm, here is not just the highway but also the Bordesholm Lake, and afterward the Einfelder Lake, very beautiful and very quiet on Mondays. Now I decided to pedal quickly home, past Neumünster until Boostedt. 5:30 PM at the destination, 5:45 PM the AKN leaves, great! Until a passenger told me, bike transport is only allowed from 6 PM, but often there are no checks; I hadn't thought about that at all😡. A bike got off, and 2 bikes were already on the train. 15 minutes of waiting and it worked out! The first 4 cycling days were very nice 🥰.
