Impressed by the Greek wine of the past evenings, Henni immediately set out to search for it and order it for both of us from German online retailers during the drive to Corinth.
In Corinth, we first moved among the ruins of the ancient Greek forum, dominated by the columns of the Temple of Apollo.
Afterwards, we climbed Akrokorinth, an impressive Templar castle built high on the mountain plateau. Unfortunately, the rain surprised us here, so we had to cut our visit short.
We also visited the Corinth Canal, but unfortunately, we couldn't observe one of the large ships winding its way through the narrow canal.
At the end of the day, our tour led us to the Nemea wine-growing region. Here, we had a tasting at the winery before spending our last evening in Nafplio.
