In the morning we met at the cars at 9:15 am and we drove to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania right away. First we went shopping at the South Hills Village Mall. The most of us bought something for ourselves and our families. At the mall we ate lunch and after that we drove to the football stadium of the Pittsburgh Steelers and visited the Hall of Fame museum which was very interesting because there were famous football players, their coaches and a booth where we could act as if we were broadcasting a game.
From there we walked to the baseball stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stadium was very impressive. Inside you had a view of the skyline of Pittsburgh. The fans were entertaining. They enjoyed their food while watching the game and cheered at every move. The Pirates’ team members were introduced with their matching songs at the beginning of each of the 9 innings. They played against the LA Dodgers. During the game there were little breaks in which the people tossed T-Shirts to the crowd and when a baseball flew over the field into the crowd, the person who caught it, could keep it. Sadly none flew in our direction, so we had to go home empty-handed. The Pirates were leading at first but at the end the Dodgers won the match. The atmosphere in the stadium at night with all of the lights was amazing. It was a very nice experience and we would love to go there again:).
