From Adelaide to Brisbane...

Today is a travel day - after the many great impressions of Kangaroo Island my plane leaves Adelaide for Brisbane at noon... My plane... The approach to Brisbane shows a completely different city than what I saw in Sydney and Adelaide... The river snakes through the skyscrapers.... Brisbane comes into view... After checking into my hotel, I immediately set off for South Brisbane - supposedly the neighborhood where the 'nightlife' is happening - well, at least a nice bar and a good restaurant would be desirable... South Brisbane is quite nice - I stroll around a bit and get a rough impression of this city with 2 million inhabitants... View of the skyline.. I finally find a nice French restaurant - 'French Martini' - with very good food, a beautiful ambience and a great wine list... Beautiful ambience inside the restaurant... I'm pretty tired, it's summery in Brisbane - I guess the sudden rise in temperature is taking its toll on me... The way back is beautiful - Brisbane is immersed in a sea of lights...
