From Córdoba to Buenos Aires and back to Germany

Instead of going to the city the next day, I stayed for another day. I went to the river with the couple's son and his girlfriend, where we went swimming and had a great day. When we wanted to go back, we realized that the car was stuck in the mud, so the parents had to come with the pick-up truck and pull us out of the mud. The next day, I went to the city where I was received by Robert, my host whom I met through the internet portal Couchsurfing. We got along very well and had an entertaining evening. The next day, I went to the city to visit two museums, a large park, and various other attractions. The city is very beautiful and there are a lot of young students. In the evening, we went together with friends to a weekly event called Spanish and Cerveza (beer), where you could meet locals and other travelers and practice your Spanish. The next day, unfortunately, I realized that I had a fever because I had probably eaten something wrong, so I stayed in bed the whole time. On the following days, except for a small city tour, I didn't do much because I still didn't feel very well. Three days later, I felt a little better and I went to the Sierras de Córdoba, a mountain range in the west of Córdoba, with two acquaintances from the Spanish and Cerveza event. There were numerous beautiful beaches and excursions. Two days later, I made my way to Buenos Aires. There, I stayed with Ignacio, another acquaintance from Couchsurfing whom I got along very well with. He showed me around the city and showed me some sights. I also met up with a friend of Nico, my acquaintance from Corrientes, who also showed me around and we went to a drum show in the evening, which was very impressive. At the after-show party in a nightclub, I met a very friendly and nice Californian whom I met up with in the city two days later to do some sightseeing and buy souvenirs. Overall, I found Buenos Aires to be a very chaotic and loud city, but on the other hand, it is also very colorful and offers an incredible variety of culture..
The next day, I drove to the airport to make my way back home.

In conclusion, the trip was really worthwhile. I was able to experience so many great places and get a first glimpse of the diversity of Argentine culture. In addition, my desire to travel has been awakened. Of course, I was happy to come home again, but on the other hand, there are so many beautiful places to discover and above all, South America has such a warm and heartfelt culture. It is incredibly exciting to meet so many different people from whom you always learn new things and who always broaden your horizons, whether they are locals or travelers. It is also a nice feeling when you have mastered all the challenges that such a trip brings and I believe that I have also personally grown because of it. For me, it was also once again clear that even though we are all different and there are big cultural differences between certain people, we are still similar. We all have certain perspectives, certain beliefs, and certain behavioral patterns that are shaped by our social environment and our culture. I think that when traveling, you learn to look beyond your own horizons and it has shown me what great opportunities arise and how much warmth you experience when you are open, unbiased, and tolerant towards new and unknown experiences. I feel personally enriched by all the great people I was able to meet and I am grateful to have had such a journey and would also like to thank my parents who have always supported me in this endeavor. Now it's time to settle back home for a while, I will gladly remember this phase of my life and I'm already looking forward to the next trip.
