Unfortunately, on Friday evening we had a small technical "glitch" that seriously questioned the continuation of our vacation: Our inverter + charger, which is basically the heart of the motorhome's electrical system, didn't go out with a bang, but with a persistent smell... The mood was initially quite low. But luckily, Ingo is a handyman, and he managed to reconfigure everything so that we can continue our vacation (with some limitations). For certain things (hairdryer, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher) we now have to rely on shore power. But that's not too bad.
So on Saturday, after a short walk on the beach, we continued on to Ystad. The parking spot west of the city is free and has a nice view, but it's noisy (right by the road), tight, and crowded - and without a power connection, ha ha! Lots of mosquitoes there😱!! Or are they mosquitoes? They look like it in the air. What really surprises us is that, just like at the previous spot, ONLY Swedes 🤔 Where are all our fellow Germans? Or Dutch people or French people? Well, the rest of the day went by quickly with tinkering (with the electrical system), cursing, reading, and grilling.
