Greece and France introduce vaccination requirement for healthcare workers
Athens imposes extensive coronavirus vaccination requirement
The Greek government today announced extensive vaccination requirements and new regulations for the leisure sector. In the coming weeks, all employees in the nursing and healthcare sector must be vaccinated - otherwise they will be placed on leave without pay.
Tourists are also affected, as only vaccinated individuals will be allowed to enter closed spaces such as cinemas, theaters, and restaurants. Additionally, a nationwide ban on dancing is in effect until at least the end of August. In outdoor areas, all guests can still be accommodated, albeit with reduced capacity.
