Tag 201 - Continue to Quang Binh

Hey everyone

Today was another day of pure motorcycle riding. We started shortly after 10 am and reached our destination today at 4 pm. It was another long day on the bike and we didn't cover much ground: 162 kilometers.

Right in the middle of the main road, Kevin's motorcycle shut off - diagnosis: no more fuel... Yeah, we apparently forgot about that.... But luckily, the next gas station wasn't far, only 1.6 kilometers away :).

He held on to my motorcycle and slowly but surely, we got closer to the gas station :).

We made it, filled up both bikes, and could continue our journey.

Along the way, we found a beautiful beach where we decided to have a beer. The restaurant was filled with locals. You won't believe it :) : They ate and whatever they didn't like, was left over, or considered waste, they threw on the floor! There was a half garbage dump around every table! Like in the Middle Ages :).

Our next major destination is "Da Nang" (320 kilometers away). We want to stay there for a few days and see a few things. Since Ninh Binh, we haven't seen anything that enticed us to stop. So we probably won't have much to report in the next two days :). But stay tuned, it will get better soon ;).

Later, we will have something to eat and won't stay up too late today.
