Difficulty level of the toboggan run

The toboggan run in Weißenbach im Ahrntal is very well groomed and extremely rarely covered in ice. However, caution is still advised, as people are constantly hiking to the Wurmtaler Almen from early morning until evening. Slow and cautious is the best approach, but you should still enjoy the fun and sometimes let it rip.

Impressive views of the Zillertal Alps and the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park, an area with heavy snowfall, traditional alpine huts, that's what it's called in South Tyrol, Weißenbach im Ahrntal. The hike to the Wurmtaler Almen is hardly strenuous and can be completed in about 1 ½ hours. This adventure in the Tauferer Ahrntal is suitable for all age groups.

For those who would like to go sledding in South Tyrol without going for a hike beforehand, there are also ski areas with toboggan runs that are accessible via cable car. In the Hochpustertal region, the two well-known ski areas in the Sexten Dolomites are particularly suitable, the Haunold ski area and the Rotwand in Sexten.
