Cañón de Studlagil

This morning we hiked directly from the campsite to Studlagil Canyon, about 2.5 km from the parking lot to the descent. Then we went down and did all sorts of climbing on the very impressive basalt cliffs. It's very striking how they are present, sometimes vertically, sometimes horizontally, and at times 'as if bent by a giant'. Later, we continued over Vopnafjoerdur to Bakkafjoerdur to the campsite.
