Norway trip May 26-June 17, 2022/ May 31

Today, we are heading towards Andenes in beautiful summer weather (20 degrees Celsius). We want to drive the Andoya scenic route and on the way back, take the eastern side. Since June 30, 2012, it has been designated as a Norwegian scenic route. The route begins at the Akneskrysset intersection and ends in Andenes, spanning a length of 51 km. It's a beautiful drive along the sea and jagged cliffs. We have spotted geese, a family of swans, and sea eagles. We are amazed at how big Andenes is, with all its beautiful, colorful, and many new houses. Andenes is a place in Norway located at the northernmost end of the Andoya Island in Vesteralen and has a population of 2515. It's a wonderful place to experience whales and nature. The return trip follows the sea on the eastern side through stunning and impressive landscapes. In the evening, we will enjoy the amazing midnight sun on our terrace while playing cards.
