St.Lorenzstrom

Yes, we have landed back in 'Nothing' after Fermont. The highway takes us to a campground after 250 km, but we leave today with workers who call their trailers home. We have a great spot by the water for one night, but we have no signal/absolutely no reception.

The highway takes us to a campground after 250 km that is designated today for workers from the large hydroelectric power plant. We continue another 100 km of gravel road/after that, our app shows us a nice spot another 200 km later!

We have arrived in the beautiful village, here called a city: Baie-Comeau 🌠🤖

The nice lady at the tourist center gives us information on where we can stay. We drive to our chosen spot and were happy. It's the last holiday in the country and we meet nice people.

And: Carmen from Montreal ❤🌠👋🏽

There is a super nice woman traveling alone in her van.

We greet each other in English—she actually speaks French—and she asks if she can speak German with us, 🤔

Carmen has lived in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Hanover for some time and was happy to talk to us in German.

Of course, we had a wonderful evening at the van, with candles, wine, nuts, and Mettwurst. We received great tips and found a friend.

In the morning, we paddled together, and after a coffee, Carmen moved on.

“Hello Carmen, I know you’re reading this 😁🥰: Greetings to you! 📏We gladly accepted your tip at the Lorenz river at Camp Paradies 🤎

It’s hard to believe. We are by the water. We have a luxury spot.

During breakfast, we see the whales blowing, and we hear them 😃

Thank you…
