New Adventures: Learning the Art of Surfing.

03.04.2019: One of the roommates, Sunny, wanted to teach me how to surf.

Typical for Australia: He simply skipped work in between.

The day was perfect, the waves were perfect.

When he came back, he said he had to go surfing. Upside-down world.

That's what a professor once told us at the opening of Aldi in Australia, that suddenly an employee disappeared.

However, he had to work again. So I explored the surroundings.

I think I did quite well for my first time surfing.

05.04.2019: I played with the very sad-looking dog Sus. He always stays in the garden and is not taken for walks. Poor thing. And I began to create my resume.

Then I went to the optician. I fell in love with a pair of glasses. But I couldn't take them because of my eyesight. These will be the backup glasses.

These will be the main glasses with thinner lenses. Both!!! Glasses together cost only 250 euros.

In comparison: my old glasses cost around 350 euros back then. In Australia, you get two pairs for less money.

06.04.2019: The Aldi shopping for 20 AUD (around 12.74 euros).

And this is what was created. Otherwise, the day was calm.

02.04.2019: Not a single photo taken. It was not a spectacular day. I played in the garden with the dog. Otherwise, the American Blair joined as another couchsurfer and we shared the L-shaped sofa. Cooked dinner for everyone in the evening and then went to play frisbee in the city.
