2nd day in Boston

Publicado: 21.08.2016

Today was all about shopping. We visited two different shopping malls today - one in the city, right in the center of Boston, and the other one on the outskirts. I have to admit that I didn't like the mall in the city very much. It was called CambridgeSide and it was nothing special. Small and not very nice. Oh, and you had to pay for parking too. My parents didn't feel comfortable in the shopping mall either. That's why we decided to go to another shopping mall, which is bigger and not located in the city. My dad hates driving in the city with the rental car ;P I understand him though, because I wouldn't want to do it either. Anyway, we went to another mall, which is apparently the biggest one in Boston. And yes, it was so big that my dad and I got lost and couldn't find the official entrance, so we ended up in the middle of a store. It was a kids store called 'Barbie Girl'. Everything was pink and there were girls walking around with their dolls. There was even a special 'doll holder' in the bathroom for the girls.

I made sure to quickly get out of the store. Of course, I also took a picture of the layout of the shopping mall, so you believe me that it's really huge and you can easily get lost there! :) I swear, the same thing would have happened to some other absent-minded person (I don't want to mention any names).

The mall was very modern and stylish. Parking was even free. So we spent the whole afternoon in this mall and went back home in the afternoon. That's it from my 2nd day in Boston. By the way, what I also think is really cool is the fact that there are 'charging stations' for cell phones, laptops, etc. in the mall. Thumbs up!

Tomorrow it's time to say goodbye to Boston and head to Washington.
