Geographically, the Lydford Gorge then presented itself as a gorge that can be explored on three or four hiking trails, with the highlight being the small 23 m high waterfall. Technically, it's not a waterfall, as the water flows down the rock without freefall. But let's not be too picky. Dogs are allowed, £8 per person, and off we go.
A jungle-like forest area, very humid, even from above ;-)
In the past, tin was mined in this area, but now walkers throw coins into dead tree trunks...
