About 40 km away from Cadiz is Cape Trafalgar, and we are making a detour there. The infamous Battle of Trafalgar took place here in 1805.
A narrow road leads to the lighthouse, which needs to be regularly cleared of dune sand. Driving through here is forbidden, so we take a nice walk to the lighthouse. The coast is very dangerous for maritime traffic here.
Once we reach the top, we will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the sea.
With the sun shining brightly, we walk barefoot along the magnificent sandy beach.
