Lakefront Reserve in Hamurana

We wake up early in the morning and have the roadside service come to get a professional opinion on the oil level. Since the nearest opportunity to get oil is ten kilometers away, the roadside service recommends calling a towing service, which is completely free thanks to our ADAC membership. They take us to a workshop in Rotorua. While filling up the oil, the mechanic notices an oil leak and points out that the engine is completely covered in oil from underneath. The mechanic asks us to come back after the weekend. We do what is necessary to get through the weekend and then drive back to the camping site in Hamurana by the lake. In the evening, we enjoy a relaxing episode of Netflix with some chocolate.
