Riverglen in Whitianga

We don't sleep in on Christmas Day because we want to talk to our families in Germany who are celebrating Christmas Eve. It's nice to hear something from home, especially during the Christmas season. Afterward, we'll have a nice breakfast and take a little trip to the nearby waterfall. It has different levels, so we decide to swim in one of the higher pools.

In the evening, we luckily get a waterfront campsite.
