For this day, we plan to drive 500km to Rotorua, which will take us through the Eastland to get another impression of it. Finally, we will have pancakes for breakfast to recharge. On the way, we want to visit the 58m high Shine Falls, where you can even swim. Luckily, we arrive at this waterfall alone and can enjoy the beauty of this place even more. While the water is relatively cold, the sandy ground is very pleasant, and you can stand under the stream of the waterfall. We spend the rest of the day in the car and see a lot of the landscape. Therefore, we only arrive at the campsite late in the evening, but all in all, the ten-hour drive was very pleasant and it gives us a good feeling to have experienced something of the Eastland.
