By now we have arrived on the edge of Fiordland, a national park that is especially known for Milford Sound. This is one of the most famous fjord landscapes and is called the 8th wonder of the world. Unfortunately, the only road that leads there has been destroyed by the severe weather. Therefore, we decide to drive along the road as far as possible to still get an impression of the beautiful Fiordland. We stop at as many places as possible to get to know the beautiful landscapes as much as possible.
Afterwards, we drive to Te Anau on Lake Te Anau to eat freshly grilled tacos. After a two-hour drive in the dark, we spend the night on the South Coast at Monkey Island Beach.
