Tag 4: Floating market + Kaufwahn

My poor nose had to endure a lot today...

After getting on extremely early, we went to the market on rails. Extremely narrow and FISH AND MEAT EVERYWHERE IN THE SUN. I thought it was over for me...

I just rambled through it but there was no end to it.

Then we went to the floating market where there was absolutely EVERYTHING. First we took a trip through the small canals in the long-tailed boat. That was so crazy. I felt like I was in the Amazon. It's still shocking how much rubbish there is everywhere.

When we arrived at the market we jumped into the fray and traded as much as we could. But everything was so cheap anyway. 1€ for spices or magnets, 3€ for

Clothes. Afterwards we had lunch. The waiting time here feels like 2 minutes, then you have your meal for 2€

Happy and satisfied, we took a bus and boat to the river hotel. When we got there it was like a different world. In the middle of the jungle, without electricity, WiFi, internet, just the sound of the river and candlelight. After dinner we played cards under candles until late at night. I get along so well with everyone here. No group formation, really great.

Nevertheless, I would never have imagined how difficult it would be to find your way around without light. Really tiring.

The next few days will be about social detoxing.
