High Sierra Trail Day 2

Day 2 started off well - no bear came over me or my food at night, but I didn't have the best sleep. I planned to do two stages in one, and even though the section from Hamilton Lake up to Kaweah Gap was pretty brutal, it was worth it. The little bit of trail running to make it to Big Arroyo Junction before sunset didn't necessarily have to happen, but thankfully it was all downhill from there. As a reward, I had one of the most beautiful spots to set up my tent on the trail.
