Pisa here we come

After a really calm, cool night and a nice chat with our pitch neighbors, we set off for Pisa in the rain.

Once there, we found our spot for tonight, about a 20-minute walk from the city center, near the registry office. This one is also locked and two older gentlemen have control over the place. Today means showering and using the toilet in the motorhome again.

We did that right away and then headed to the Leaning Tower, which of course all the other tourists are also doing. The city is really full of them and you can buy souvenirs on every corner.

In the evening, we ate at a pizzeria, of course pizza, finally lasagna and a Tuscan specialty (Trippa a la toscana).

After over 20,000 steps, we are enjoying the evening in the warm motorhome, because otherwise we would get even more bitten by the lovely mosquitoes. The mosquitoes are quite aggressive and the bites are huge afterwards. The sting healer is our best friend.

Let's see how the night goes in Pisa, hopefully a bit airy.
