Hello everyone,
After breakfast, we pack our things and head towards Vetlanda to Gruva Kleva.
The former copper and nickel mine is reached after about 40 km. We were here once before on our first Sweden 🇸🇪 vacation and we liked it so much back then that we wanted to come back with Lotte. The last 3 km of the drive are quite adventurous, especially with our camper van on unpaved forest roads. In Germany 🇩🇪, these are simply forest paths where the forester would have a stroke if you drove a vehicle on them. Here in Sweden 🇸🇪, they are considered roads. It's like driving through the Niedwald forest with our camper van.
But now we are here! Quickly register, pick up our helmets and flashlights, and then it's off to the tunnels. Charlotte will receive a treasure map, on which she has to find and draw various symbols in the mine.
