There are days when hours are scheduled for special events. On this really sunny and warm day, the journey went to Pforzheim. From the city, we wanted to visit the Enzauen Park and the Gasometer. The beer garden has existed since the State Garden Show in 1992, and in such weather an espresso is essential. However, the Gasometer also has a bistro and an outdoor terrace with a view of the Enz, which flows calmly through Pforzheim.

I never thought that I would ever get to know or see this part of the rainforest. And all without leaving a large footprint! So without a flight!

This trip was made possible in Pforzheim, in the local GASOMETER. Yadegar Asisi had the idea and the means to realize this exhibition. During a tour of the exhibition, around 20 people learned not only how often a tree had to be photographed to be featured in this panoramic view but also what is so special about this part of the rainforest. Not only the constant exchange and mixing of Amazon water (freshwater) with seawater (saltwater) but also the tidal range is very important.

We learned which great fish wealth lives there, what other animals occur there, and we also saw a lot of insects. 365 to be precise. There were also explanations about the individual species here. From blue butterflies, whose color is not easy to preserve, and large beetles that live for years as caterpillars and only transform into such for mating before they die shortly after.

An example of a tiger mosquito was shown to illustrate how such an animal is perceived by humans – and in an extreme magnification how it really looks. Not only is the tool for accessing human blood impressive, but also the
