Boltenhagen

The weather is not always kind to travelers. At least it stops spreading moisture during the morning. There weren't many people at the market and I was looking for something warm to wear in the holiday apartment. Without a jacket it was a little too cool - with a little too warm.

In the front row there is the shop SCHIETWETTER. The name alone is worth a look. I bought my favorite cap there a few years ago and have never regretted it. Today I was undecided about what kind of sleeveless vest would be suitable. The saleswoman had to laugh at the term.

We then made our way to Boltenhagen. Not via the Priwall and the ferry, but via a country road so that we could see a bit of the countryside. The journey took a little longer than expected. But that doesn't matter if the travelers have vacation and time in their luggage.

There are plenty of parking spaces. Apparently a lot of holidaymakers are expected. Found a parking space; fees should only be paid at the end of the parking time.

First we went straight to the beach and saw whether the PIER BRIDGE lived up to its promise. A great view - if the weather had been a little brighter. But it was still very beautiful. Then of course we walked along the water's edge and looked for thunderbolts. We quickly found a thunderbolt. It's similar to cairns: built or found means for me: I'll be back to this place.

As a chocolate fan, I really wanted to join the CHOCOHELDEN.

Unfortunately, it is still low season and therefore closed on Thursday. Café Pralinchen was not open yet either. What a pity. It doesn't matter - some of the other restaurants are already open. At the OSTSEEHAPPEN drinking bar, fresh sausages were just ready on the grill and the wonderful smell magically attracted me. They were really delicious, these sausages.

Other walkers thought so too, and new goods ended up on the grill. Impatient people had no time to wait for these wonderful sausages. One customer waited patiently and was rewarded. Strangely enough, the people who had been in such a hurry before also came back. A nice chat later, we still needed some caffeine. The KLÖNSCHNACK café and bistro was waiting for us around the next corner. Delicious birthday cake and coffee rounded off our visit to Boltenhagen. A lovely place to relax - at least in the week in April. We quickly changed and headed to the TRAVEBLICK restaurant ship, where we had dinner that day.
