With freshly styled hair, we set off for Green Island on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef today. The crossing was a bit bumpy. But the nice crew had provided bags for everyone who needed them 🤮 (most important information of the day!). When we arrived on the island, we had to realize that the island was already firmly in Asian hands, and the promised snorkeling experience turned out to be more of a day at the beach. A few beautiful colorful fish and a very cute turtle 🐢 compensated for the rather non-existent coral reef. But that was really not a problem because we unfortunately cannot swim in the sea here in Cairns because of the 🐊 and 🦈.
