Route 1 to Santa Barbara

Hello dear ones from sunny Santa Barbara! Today was a great day, we saw a lot and drove the first part of Route 1.

After checking out in LA, we went to Beverly Hills, to the rich and beautiful. Here we had a typical American breakfast, I don't want anything else anymore! :)

Then we went to the famous Santa Monica Pier and the equally famous Venice Beach. We rode a roller coaster on the Santa Monica Pier, it felt a bit bumpy, on a wooden pier in the middle of the sea. Then we continued along Route 1 to Malibu, where we were greeted by beautiful blue water and a long pier with great restaurants and cafés.

After a two-hour drive, we arrived in Santa Barbara, checked into our really nice hotel and went straight to the beach. The beach here is so wide and spacious that you often don't have anyone else lying around for meters around. As a finale for the great day, we had the spare ribs all-you-can-eat at the "Brauhaus" of Santa Barbara :)
