.... were the latest stops on our journey.
From Paihia, we first made our way with our little camper van to the drop-off station 'Spaceship' near Auckland Airport.
During our overnight stay at the airport hotel, we almost witnessed the current political events in the Middle East. As Trump, Netanyahu, and their ilk don’t give a damn about international law, several Emirates and Qatar Air planes have by now been stranded at Auckland Airport.
In contrast, our flight from Auckland to Sydney with Qantas went perfectly, allowing us to gather our first impressions of Sydney upon arrival at the apartment ....
.... initially in 'our' rather cozy neighborhood of Glebe
.... and then after a short ferry ride to Darling Harbour (very close to Sydney Downtown).
Tomorrow, we plan to explore Sydney in more detail!
