.... which is why we moved to the eastern coast of Moorea for two nights.
The reason: On January 31, we need to catch the first ferry at 6:00 AM to Tahiti, where we will embark on the ARANUI 5 and explore the islands of French Polynesia - especially the Marquesas Islands - for twelve days on this combination transport-passenger ship.
Our temporary accommodation is very different from the one on the northwestern coast: Located in the middle of the jungle of Moorea, surrounded by trees and ferns, and rustic in style. The only downside is the occasional mosquito 🌸
