Overnight we traveled from Bora-Bora to Tahiti, to the port of Papeete. A final breakfast on the ARANUI 5 and then we had to bid farewell to the beloved crew and new acquaintances or even new friends.
A taxi took us to our accommodation, which we were fortunately able to check into in the morning.
After a short shopping trip and a longer lunch break, we explored the heart of Papeete, searched for and found a happy hour location as well as a food truck .... that literally spoiled us with sashimi in a sesame coat and fries 🌸
The approximately 2 km return journey from the center of Papeete to our accommodation was pleasant: marina, bars, parks, and the atmospheric sunset over Moorea were our companions 🌸
By the way: From our two balconies, we were able to enjoy an impressive starry sky for the first time on our trip 🌸
