Tag 5 - Arrival in Hualien by TRA train

Today we met Carolin at Taipei Main Station, as she will be traveling with us for a few days (thanks to online lectures!). Today we took a 2.5-hour TRA train ride to Hualien.

Here we have chosen a nice accommodation. Very stylish for a small price. But as soon as we entered, we had to take off our shoes and put on our slippers.🫣

In the late afternoon, we walked towards the city and visited a cafe recommended on Instagram. It was actually very nice and modern - but above all, delicious. We wanted to have our dinner at the night market (which exists in every city). Unfortunately, it started raining heavily, so we took a taxi back to our accommodation. We ordered our dinner through Uber Eats and then quickly went through the plan for tomorrow. Tomorrow we will rent a car to go to Taroko National Park - there is no better adventure!
