Andreas further working day in high summer temperatures I used for a trip to the National Mall and was greeted directly by the Washington Monument.
Now I had the agony of choice:
Do I visit
- the National Air and Space Museum
- the American Indian Museum
- the National Museum of American History
- the National Museum of Natural History
- the Holocaust Memorial Museum
- the National Gallery of Art ?????????
All museums are the best in the USA, absolutely worth seeing and also have free admission......
Well, I'll start with the Smithsonian origins, in the Smithsonian Castle and then see what happens next.......
